So aside from all the other insanity in my life (work, personal drama, Burning Man, etc. etc. blah blah blah), I've been hatching a plan. Finally, the time is now. If you're in LA and not some kind of creep, come on down....
9/17 - Virgo Sacrifice
The Red Loft ~ 10pm ~ $5 cover ~ tribal/sexy/virginal attire encouraged

It's time to come out and show some love to the virgo. Here's what Astrologist Liz Greene has to say about virgo (the virgin)...
The symbol of Virgo the Maiden was chosen by astrologers to represent people born under this sign because there is a cool, clear quality to the way that a typical Virgo person thinks.
Virgo people are usually very gentle and quiet, and love small animals and growing things. Many Virgos love to do detailed things and are talented at crafts like dressmaking. They will work hard to create something which is beautiful and useful at the same time. People born under the sign of Virgo are often happy to be alone, providing they know that they are needed and appreciated by others. In fact, the most important thing to Virgo people is service. They are always ready to help others, and are very sympathetic to their friend's problems. Often they are shy and sensitive, but deep down are generous with their love and their talents.
We love them. We need to sacrifice them to the party gods in order to assure another year of decadence and debauchery in our lives. On St. Patrick's Day we all get to be Irish, and at the Virgo Sacrifice we're all virgins again.
Music:
Richard Gledhill (UK)
Armando (Dark Thoughts)
Patricio (Los Angeles Breakbeat Association)
Dance Performances:
Roxy
Voltaire
Party Phography
Richard Kim (blink of an i productions)
Too many good friends of mine are Virgos and were without appropriately decadent plans, so I felt the need to step out of the shadows and put something together I hope we all can enjoy,
It's a wonderful private location in downtown LA. Things get going at around 10, and will go on until whenever. The cover's low and the drinks are cheap, leaving room for you to generously tip these amazing performers, who are all volunteering their time to help support my two favorite causes - decadence and debauchery.

it's okay if you hate me. just let me know when you're done hating me so we can be friends and again and you can tell me how the party was.
