In my continued reflections upon Burning Man, I've started to go through the hundreds of pictures I've taken. I'm a slack-ass, so none are really posted yet (save for the profile picture, of me at the temple burn on Sunday night). Don't fret, though, I expect to get a few of them posted in my pics in the next few days.



In going through the pics, though, I'm surprised to find that I didn't hallucinate some of the things that I saw. The following things actually were real, much to my surprise.

A sign taped to the stereo system at Obsidity's camp that read "If you see sparks, do not lick the stereo." This apparently was put there for a reason.

Giant electric skull zooming around the playa. I thought for sure that was a figment of my imagination.

Marilyn Monroe. Or at least a beautiful woman who was dressed as Marilyn. You don't often see that in the desert.

Guy in a kilt and a cowboy hat. Odd combo, if you asked me, but he made it work lol...

Giant 4-seater couch zooming along the wasteland. I forgot to ask if it folded out to a bed.

A coffin that's been tricked out to serve as a grill. Genius!

A brass section playing an impromptu set with a psychotic DJ on a pirate ship. It was totally random, the horns just showed up and started playing along. The uber-talented Nova just went with it.

Thunderdome. Yeah - the one from Mad Max.

Giant fishy. I swore that wasn't real.

Hammock-mobile. Think it sounds comfy - you're probably right.
