So right now I'm charging the new cell phone.
New cell phone, you say? Yes, a new cell phone. What in the world would you need a new phone for? The one you had did pretty much everything you could possibly ask for. That's true. The old phone was very nearly perfect for me. Except for the battle damage (from being dropped again and again), it's perfect. Don't tell me you dropped and broke it Not exactly... Oh no, what happened? Well I dropped the phone, but that wasn't the problem. The problem was that it landed in water and went for a swim.
As it turns out, cell phones don't swim. So now I'm out $190, and charging a new phone. Since I don't have a spare $190 laying around for just such a situation, that'll make things a bit dicey.
Trying to focus on the positive though. Through the miracle of bluetooth technology, all my contact info will be back in the phone in a matter of minutes. All 451 entries (no really... but that's when you factor in email addresses). And today I scored a good pair of sandals and a couple cool pairs of goggles for Burning Man, as well as a bike (thanks to nonsense and RoxyMonoxcide for hooking me up.
And tonight's the Leo's Ball, a kickass all night party that I've been looking forward to for months. Got my costume and raring to go!
At BM I'll be camping in the Vault Of Hell. We'll be located at around 8:30 and Earth or Venus. Seether will be with me. It's a small but fantastic group, even if I did nothing but hang out with my campmates the whole week it will be a fantastic time. It is possible, though, that we'll be up to no good.
