Another episode of cut and paste journal entry, but the internet should be back by Monday night.
My Friday night was embarrassingly lame. I ended up working late, got home shortly after 11, and didn't really do anything.
Saturday was cool. Hung out with WhippedCream for the first time in ages (he's been back from Thailand for a couple weeks, but this was the first I'd seen him), so it was good to hit a couple pubs and toss back a few pints and bring each other up to speed on life's adventures since the beginning of the year. Later we met up with Seether, Bean, Shalome, and Moonpile for some decadence and debauchery at Dungeon (industrial club in Hollywood), followed by post-game fun at my place that ended up lasting late into the morning... if I had working internet, I'm sure we would have added a full page to the Screw Off thread.
Much of the day was spent sleeping and recovering. I had plans to go over to someone's house to watch the Oscars Sunday night, but that apparently fell through. Ouch. I thought this person was pretty interested in me, but I guess I was mistaken. It's strange - I'm fairly good at reading other peoples' situations, but when it comes to my own I'm completely clueless.
:::whoosh:::
edited to add: I'm sooo glad to see that Return Of The King did so well at the awards. Biggest sweep in history. I could ramble on about it forever, but I'll save that for another time...

man I know what you mean about beind able to read into other people's situations but not having a clue when it comes to yerself....I've decided that its just best to take it as it comes. I don't get hung up that way, and life just seems to be alot more fun.
