So I just got "Reality" from Bowie today (when I got my new digital camera). All I can say is DAMN! I stand humbled. And to think I ever considered myself a musician.

Hey: since you have all the hot female friends (he says tongue in cheek: though it's true, it's not my main motivation for posting), I thought maybe you could spread the word that this week is officially New Picture Week at my profile. I finally have a few up that are brand spanking new and look like I look today - yay. Check it out when you have a chance!

And a few of us are discussing that thing I mentioned in March. More details forthcoming as they congeal, and I may be asking you for your thoughts on an after-party where we could invite more folks. The screening thing has to be kind of small, due to room constraints and security (it'll be on the WB lot) and whatnot...

Good eye, dude! Yeah, that's "Gitta", as she liked to be called. And the hair-band dude (next pic) is Kip Winger. My bro used to roadie for him back in the day. Kip is (surprisingly enough) actually a very talented writer and player: he could've been Cat Stevens in another life.

Do you like Ryan Adams at all? Yeah, I know he's a punk-ass bitch, but I am really digging the "Rock and Roll" album, obvious lifts (from T-Rex, The Smiths, etc) and all...

I think your Bowie comments are right on the money re: his position in the business and what it affords him. Must be a great place to be, huh? about fucking time, after his relatively lean years!
