Fractal's one of the coolest people ever. Someday we'll have our own show about movies. The IM below should give you an idea of what that show would be like.

Fractal: did you see that underworld movie?
trilo: yes, have the dvd
trilo: mmmmm - kate beckinsale
Fractal: it was so bad though!
trilo: and can i just say, i wanna be a vampire dammit!
Fractal: well, yeah
trilo: well, i think they tried too hard
trilo: and had too little money for what they wanted to make
Fractal: at least we went into it knowing it was going to be really stupid, so we weren't disappointed.
trilo: i had zero expectations
trilo: expected style over substance, got that
trilo: what bugged me about it is the trailer gave away the ending
trilo: i kept waiting to see her jump w/the sword
Fractal: have you seen Itchi the Killer?
trilo: no
trilo: what's itchi the killer
Fractal: I couldn't watch the whole thing.... It was the most graphic and intense movie I have ever seen.
trilo: really?
Fractal: a japanese movie that's been banned in the states for years, until about a month ago
trilo: cool... right there you know it's good
trilo: what about kill bill?
Fractal: haven't seen kill bill
trilo: let me tell you two things about kill bill
trilo: 1) arterial spray
Fractal: that ain't shit.
trilo: 2) it will desensitize you to all violence... ever
Fractal: no...
trilo: seriously
Fractal: trust me on this one.
Fractal: Itchi the Killer...I've never EVER had to turn a movie off because of trilo: graphic violence before. I couldn't deal with this one
Fractal: it was almost embarrassing to be watching it with others.
trilo: i only had to turn off one of those faces of death flicks
Fractal: I've sat through those...I almost threw up at this one
trilo: egads
trilo: you'd love kill bill
Fractal: I don't think its playing around here anymore though
trilo: it'll be on video soon

trilo: i'm sure it will... probably in time for oscar voting season

trilo: while all kinds of flawed, it's still a good flick i think

Fractal: i think he should have him do it, but i've also heard that marilyn manson is going to play it
Fractal: oh neat
trilo: he said he wasn't going to do any casting until next year
trilo: well this year
trilo: i suspect it'll be depp....
trilo: burton's said in a few places that he's his favorite actor to work with
Fractal: they rule together. I wish burton had directed pirates.
trilo: yeah, though pirates was pretty cool as is
Fractal: very true.
Fractal: I really need to buy that.
trilo: it had just about everything i could have wanted
