OK so seriously, I've just had one of the most bizarre experiences of my life.
I walk into a grocery store, and grab a little basket. I wander up the aisle, and pass a woman who's walking the opposite direction. We make eye contact but don't say anything. A moment or two later, I hear 'excuse me' coming from behind. Shit, did I drop something?
I turn around. The woman is staring at me and staggering. I look at her strangely and tilt my head to one side. Is she alright? 'Your aura' she says. She can see the confusion in my eyes. She explains that she's a psychic. She tells me that I've got a really strong and powerful aura, the most powerful she's ever seen.
I'm flattered. She then goes on for several minutes telling me about myself. Not hokey broad general statements, but specific, on the money things. She's not pitching me on a full reading, she's just giving me one because she thinks I need to hear it (I do). In fact, after about 15 minutes she offered to keep going, she could spend another 15-30 minutes with me if it was something I wanted. I didn't have the luxury of time, and felt like I was monopolizing her time, so I thanked her and moved on.
I don't want to get into the details of what she said here, it's enough to say that there have been things weighing heavy on my heart and my mind that I need to figure out and resolve, and that the time is coming for action.
Can I be any more ready for 2004?
On a slightly unrelated but completely hilarious note, please read all about the SG Worldwide New Year's SCREW OFF!. I think it would be all kinds of fun to see how many people we can get to participate. Please help the cause.
