Maybe it's me. Maybe it's her. Maybe it's someone else. Maybe it's the timing. Maybe it's the distance. But it's definitely something.

In other news:
- Several job prospects this week, more than in the last two months
- Not sure where I'll be for my birthday, which is in less than two weeks
- I've made some progress on a couple story ideas
- Also made some progress on a book I'm supposed to write
- A few interesting ideas for music are bouncing around
- More design ideas percolating as well
- Been doing a lot of housecleaning, but there's more to be done
- Apparently home repairs and painting are also in the cards
- Finally saw Mirrormask - holy fuck, this is a great film

I'm going to grab some lunch, send off another resume, then spend a couple hours working on those design ideas for a bit. I should probably be focusing on the writing, but for reasons I can't explain the design thing seems like it should come first.
