A lot of things going on right now...
Still no real answers on why the group application was denied, I'm starting to wonder if I'm being ignored, or if the response time is this poor for everyone.
Some seriously stressful family drama as well, makes for some suckitude, but its worse for someone else in my family so I'm not going to bitch about it.
Other than that, I've been really pleased with the way a set's coming together, I'm enjoying playing this particular series of tracks. The other night I felt like I really nailed it, and holy crap I managed to get it recorded too! I listened to the recording, and I'm digging it. 2 1/2 hours of musical bliss... Today I managed to find a way to slice it so it fits onto two CD's nicely (as opposed to just abruptly ending and then picking up on the next disc), so woohoo for that.
And NYE afterparty details should be forthcoming. We're still wrangling some talent details, but the big pieces are in place. A lot of art's been put together, and next week I'll be building and painting my ass off, as well as putting together a killer sound system or three...

Congrats on the musical front exploration. Is that your own music you've been creating? Kinda hard to tell from your description.

I highly recommend the Serenity DVD, but I am also it extremely biased towards anything Firefly/Serenity based. In truth though it really is a good movie.
