Damn you, LaLindaLoca!!! *shakes fist in air*
Early on in the whole journal tagging game that's going on I wrote one with either 5 or 10 things about me in a sort of pre-emptive strike so I wouldn't have to write 20 things. I thought I had gotten away with it, too, then I checked the site this morning only to find out she'd got me. I'll play along, but I'm not gonna tag anybody else.
Simple Things
1 - I'm cold.
2 - I need a shower.
3 - I need to get new razorblades - I'm feeling scruffy.
4 - I'm not a fan of the christmas season.
5 - My car needs to be washed, inside and out.
Random Things
6 - Birthday girl elfin thinks I can't be killed by conventional methods.
7 - If you thought any of the items in the first section were filler, you should take a closer look at #7.
8 - I got to feed a tiger cub once.
9 - Prior to shaving my head, I used to change the cut/color every 3-4 weeks.
10 - Last night I made a bunch of hors d'oeuvres for dinner. Appetizers, yo!
Musical Things
11 - Music is my addiction. I have over 1500 CD's, not counting DJ sets and burned discs.
12 - I gave away all my vinyl records in 2003-2004 (I had a lot, it took a while to make them all go away). I could never sell them (while valuable, the collection was worth far more to me than any collector/dealer would offer), so rather than just let them sit and gather dust (since I knew I'd never get another turntable) I offered friends who would use them and appreciate them to dig through the crates and take whatever they wanted.
13 - Once, while drunk in NYC, I sang on stage with a french industrial band called Y Front (they were performing a cover of Depeche Mode's Enjoy The Silence). This was right after Rammstein's first-ever show in the US.
14 - My iTunes library currently has 26 days, 1 hour, 7 minutes, and 33 seconds worth of music. I keep it on an external hard drive.
15 - Right this second, I'm listening to Kathy's Song by Apoptygma Berzerk. If you want to get technical, it's VNV Nation's Victoria Mix of that track.
Historical Things
16 - I once pissed on the grave of Cotton Mather. Not that I had any personal problem with him, just that I felt that it was something that needed to be done.
17 - I once slept in a castle built by a dead relative. It's actually the oldest habitable castle in Ireland.
18 - I once made out with a girl in the chair Lincoln was in when he was shot. We also made out in the car Kennedy was riding in when he was shot, and in the original incarnation of the pope-mobile (the bullet-proof car developed after an assassination attempt). Said girl worked in the museum that housed those items.
19 - A dead relative of mine was once the president of France. They won't give me the deed to the country, though.
20 - The tattoo of a tiger on my shoulder is based on the earliest known picture of one, found in a cave in Tibet.
