In other news, I love Aeon Flux. I was a fan back when it was on Liquid Television, I watched the series, and through the whole absurdity and ridiculousness that is my life I even got to meet with creator Peter Chung once and give him feedback on the prototype of the Playstation game that was in development at the time (nearly a decade ago).
They're making a movie. It's going to be crap. Not just because I can't wrap my head around the casting of Charlize Theron, but because all the rumblings from the labs have been bad. A friend of mine had been hired to oversee some of the special effects, but left the job after a few short weeks because there were so many problems. However, there is something wonderful that's come out of it - MTV has gone and released Aeon Flux: The Complete Animated Collection. Collection because it's got more than just the show. It's got the Liquid Television segments. It's got features. It's got commentaries. It's got production art, sketches, storyboards, and other cool-ass stuff you'd dig if you were a fan of the show. And hey, they've reworked the sound to offer both stereo sound and 5.1 Surround. And opening up this wonderful little present, I discovered it's also got a CD of music from the series. Check it out!

You & I want to see the same movies: Walk The Line, Kong and Narnia plus there are more out right now too that I wanna see (I'm Seeing Walk the Line tonight actually). I'll prolly wait for Aeon Flux to hit dvd too.
