I'd love to be able to tell you fabulous tales of decadence and debauchery over the weekend and into Halloween, but alas I have none. I am feeling much better than I was last week, though, so woohoo for that.

And better still, I made a lot of progress on a couple stories I'm developing, so woohoo for that too. The writing has been difficult lately, so I'm particularly grateful for the progress I'm making.

The search for a day job continues to be frustrating. A world of opportunity in places I have no desire to go, and no blips on the radar in the places I want to live. While I probably should consider moving to follow any opportunity, I've been doing that my whole life - finally I've connected with a city I don't want to leave. I'm not ready to give up on that. And besides, if any of the writing projects pan out, that could become a whole new career path for me.
