Rewind 6 years and 1 day ago today: I was caught up in a lifestyle that I needed out of, lots of drugs, lots of booze, living on the streets on a regular basis, horrible relationship with my family, friends that were using me for the drugs I was dealing and my best friend had just died in a drunk driving accident that was his fault. 
July 1st, 1997 I decided to get out of it, quit drinking, quit the drugs, quit dealing, lose the "friends", start being responsible and attempt to rebuild relationships with my family.
I haven't gone back since!
