Man oh man, this weeks bloghomework from @rambo and @missy is a good one, they want us to tell you guys about our first job.
I was 17, my braces had just been taken off and I had no clue how to smile right, and I was tired of a $20 gas allowance, so I got a job. I applied every where, and Moes was the only place that called me back, so moes it was.
I found out quick working sucks, and you spend a lot of time making a little money, and all your friends are texting you about fun shit & your not even supposed to be on your phone. They started me out as a cashier, I sucked, so I was moved to the line, I made burritos, swept, mopped, and took out some disgusting trash. Management hated me, I had too much fun, I was a little ADHD, but hey, it was my first job!
I didn't last a full year, in the end I was fired because I came in too "sick" (hungover) to work & ended up passing out, the manager literally caught me as I was falling towards a fryer. In my eyes I should've gotten an A for the effort, hahaha. I did take a few amazing things away from the job, I will never forget how to roll a bomb ass burrito, I can call Moes workers out when they try to jip me on my steak and bean portions, I know not to get fucked up before a work day, and the best of all of the things I took away from the situation, a best friend. And almost seven years later were actually both on the site! @teeny and I met at this job and are still best friends to this day! Love you beautiful!
