So I was looking through all the old @bloghomework , and ended up at the top of the page where I found this! @missy and @rambo wanted to know about our favorite set and the day it was shot, mine hadn't happened yet! And since it is still in member review I thought I would tell you about the day Las Vegas Past was shot!
So I had been a hopeful for about six months when I found out @alissa would be traveling with @radeo to DC, right next to my home town, and I was so excited! but also so broke! The only reason I ended up being able to go is because my love @teeny let me stay with her, which made the trip even better because I was able to smoke and catch up with my best friend! (Who I miss very much right now!)
So I wake up early and head north, but living in the Carolinas you forget about traffic into Washington DC. I started running late, story of my life! Sitting in traffic gave me just enough time to get nervous, holy cow, im meeting Alissa and Radeo, I had been seeing @Alissa's photography for so long, and @radeo (along with @soya & @glitch) were the first Suicide girls I had EVER seen, how I found suicide girls, the reason I grew up wanting to be a suicide girl! But now that I was about to meet two of them I felt like I couldn't compare to these ladies, I felt like I probably wouldn't even be able to relate to their coolness, and then oh would you look at that, I'm there.
So pull it together and park, a homeless man with a buggy yells "That's my parking Spot!" I don't look but it makes me giggle (I Grew up in crazy ass DC). I go up to the door and knock and Alissa answered all excited and brought me to look over my things with Radeo. We talked for a bit and ended up on what music we liked and it turns out we all shared a mutual love for Lana Del Rey! we joked around and chatted while they got me styled up, and I realized I had been crazy for being nervous. These were awesome, down to earth babes that were just like me! Then it got even better! Alissa told me we could shoot in this amazing bathtub with big lovely windows!
So we got upstairs, we turned on Lana & we pretty much just jammed out. It was the most fun shoot I've ever done, I hardly remember pictures being taken, just great music, good conversation, and chill vibes, I felt like I had been friends with these girls forever, which made it even more special. I really hope to cross paths with the both of you again, thank you so much, you have no clue how happy it still makes me that we got to hang!
The icing on the cake is how much everyone online has loved my set as well! Over 1800 in just over two weeks, that leaves me speachless! Around the time this set came out I actually lost my next set to download, and a few other things as well, but all this love has made it impossible not to smile.
