Guesssss what day it is!
So I won't lie to you guys, I've totally made the main dish of this weeks meal before, which should only be a testimony of how delicious it is, especially since I over ate this particular food as a child and wouldnt eat if for a few years. Since it is my loves favorite, and I wanted to get laid, I started making it for them, and I will never admit it's become one of my favorites. (they might try and make me over eat it again)
Spaghetti & Meatballs with Garlic Cheese Bombs
So we'll start out with the meatballs & sauce for the spaghetti! (But pre-heat your oven to 400 f• for your bombs!)
Begin with your meatballs, mix all ingredients with hands in bowl, personally this feeling really freaks me out. Make 8-10 meat balls. Pour a little oil into a large pot and heat to medium-high, (you will also be making your sauce in this) arrange the meatballs in the pot and brown on all sides, do not fully cook. Remove meatballs from pot and set to side.
Now we start on the sauce, throw the peppers and onions into the pot, and let them cook for 2-3 minutes. Your going to deglaze your pot with the wine, (which by the way, I went a little heavier then a cup so I could taste it) scrape all the yummy brown stuff from the sides and add in your cans of tomato paste, let that cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add in your water, itallian seasoning, sugar, salt, and garlic powder, stir well, and add the meatballs back to the pot, you will let this simmer another 30 minutes. On medium high it was boiling, so i personally had to turn it down a bit.
Use this time to cook your spaghetti, and start on your cheese bombs! Which by the way are super easy.
All you need for your Cheese bombs; 1 Large can of Biscuits, Pre-sliced fresh mozzarella, 5 tbsp butter, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 onion salt
This is so super easy and they blew my mind. All you do is flatten your biscuit and put a folded/broken up slice of mozzarella in the center, then fold the biscuit around the cheese pinching it closed well. Lay the bombs seam side down and about an inch apart on a oven pan with some foil on it. (you may want to lightly spray pan) Place in oven for 13-15 minutes.
While the bombs cook mix your butter, garlic powder and onion salt. Microwave until melted and set aside.
Take the rolls out of the oven once they are nice and golden brown, immediately brush butter mix onto bombs, serve warm. Enjoy!
