I woke up on the right side of the bed today! I had a great sleep, the day is beautiful, tonight the club I will be working is doing their "re-grand opening", (I still don't know how that works) and they will be having free food, so yeah its going to be a good day in my book.
So, I'm not sure if it's new, or old, or in between, but I've been seeing a few posts about "10 facts about yourself" as @missy and @charmaine 's homework for the week, and I like it! I always like knowing weird or interesting quirks about people, SO on top of my 10 facts I'd really enjoy hearing them from everyone else!
1. I curse like a sailor. I've never really understood the whole some words are good and some you shouldn't say thing, this has only gotten worse once I got out on my own. My mouth only embarrasses me around one person, my mother. Everyone else can get the hell over it!
2. I don't drink, anymore. It's funny, as soon as it was legal for me to do I kind of lost interest. I'm not here to tell you how it's awful for you, it just feels like poison to my system. But if my friends are at the bar I'll be right there with them, sober (or high as a kite), having just as much fun if not more. I'm everyone's favorite DD!
3. Zodiac signs & horoscopes explain entirely to much of my life. I find it so interesting to see such similarities between people and their signs. I am a Libra, and balance is so important in my life, and I love nothing more then to bring balance to others.
4. I'm waaatching you. In the most non-creepy way possible, I swear! I'm a people watcher, but I wouldn't call myself a wallflower per say because I've been told you can hear my voice a mile away. But I'm always watching, humans are so interesting, I don't think I could ever understand them, but I can watch the little piece of life they share with me!
5. I'm a story teller. No not a liar, I like to tell stories! As you can probably tell by the lengths of my blogs, I don't really know when to shut up. Detail makes the mental image, I just want you to see what I see.
6. I'm the "motherly" one of the group. Whatever that means, I'm always being told it. You know that voice up there that goes "ehhh, don't think we should do this one", yeah I'm going to speak up before that voice, you may not have as much fun, but you also won't have to spend the rest of the night getting stitches. Oddly that little voice doesn't work for myself sometimes, probably cause I'm watching out for everyone else.
7. I love overpriced designer make-up. (And lingerie) Although I'm not sure of the last time I put on make up to go out, but it is a big part of my life, so why not get the good shit? Some girls cringe when they hear my eye-shadow & hand full of lipsticks could have sent them on a mini vacation, but for me it's all a part of the show, a piece of the character!
8. I'm a clutz, but I can't feel it. I'm always hurting myself somehow, but since I have such a high pain tolerance that I usually don't know til it's REALLY hurting. Once I broke my leg, unknowingly I went to stand up and immediately back fell to the ground, I started laughing because my leg didn't work, it wasn't fun later because....
9. Hospitals scare the hell out of me. I don't know if it's the terrifyingly unnatural smell that hits you as soon as you walk in, or the 20 cords they want to connect to your body, but it sends me into a panic attack from hell. I do not fuck with hospitals. Ironically my mother and her mother and so on are all nurses, not my cup of tea.
10. I get emotionally attached to fictional characters. Be it a good book, or an intense series of shows, or a great plotted videogame, if I get into it I almost don't want to finish the story in fear of it being over. I heard a great saying "I have lived a thousand lives" in reference to books, games, etc., and I really like that, because with the right detail I really feel like I can be a part of the lives in it.
Well that was fun! I hoped you liked learning a little more about what makes me me! I can't wait to learn about everyone else, but for now, it's time for work! Hahah, here's how I prepare for a free food buffet!
