Update....
Things are going decent in terms of recording - I've been writing and playing little loops. I haven't made as much progress as I would like because my lousy 9-5 gets in the way
Actually, work has been rather busy. I work in an IT field (mostly network servers) and have been getting into development testing on new upcoming hardware. I also have been learning a lot of Linux recently. It sounds boring as hell - I'm boring myself just thinking about it and promise not to talk about work in the future - but at least the time goes by quickly and little things here and there make more sense.
I'm going to Hawaii at the end of this week. My mom and her husband have a timeshare and let us have a week... I'm sure I'll scare the natives with my white-ass legs. I pretty much wear pants all the time and feel weird in shorts. I think a lot of it had to do when I was growing up and my dad got me those shorts where you're not sure if they're short shorts or something you probably shouldn't wear in public. He was a runner so he had the described shorts with the super high slit up the side [shudders]. Hi suppressed childhood memories, welcome back!
I've really been diggin' the sets recently - not that they were bad or anything - I just think the caliber of ideas for sets (originality, concept, etc...) and the multi sets have been really awesome
