Do I really wanna keep a journal on here? I don't keep up with my journal on myspace or deviant art, so why start a new one? Well, that big blank spot on my profile just looks crappy, so at least now there'll be something there.
La la la... I'm supposed to be painting right now, but I don't feel like it. I'm working on a landscape for class that I have to do three different expressionist versions of. I've done 2 that aren't quite finished. I'm not particularly fond of landscapes and still life, but using ridiculously wild and unrealistic colors makes it slightly more interesting. But I'm not sure what to do next. I kinda feel like a kid with the big box of crayons, making a big ol' mess with every color in there. Maybe I'll post pics of them at some point, I don't know, they're kinda cool. Like dreamscapes maybe.
I don't know, I really want to paint something... different, surreal. Beautiful, dreamlike. Maybe dark and sick, or melancholy, or ridiculously cute and fluffy. Bunnies with wings on pink swirly clouds and chibi anime characters that scream 'Kawaii!' Pop culture beautiful trash like every issue of my favorite art magazine, Juxtapose. Something completely not fine art whatsoever. I think I'm gonna go out and buy a new easel tomorrow.
