Hello guys and gals. I write to you from my new house. It is okay. I have the furniture all set up in my room but still have quite a bit of unpacking to do. I'm going to try my best to finish all of that tomorrow. There are a lot of things wrong with it that I didn't notice before. I'm pretty good at fixing things and not bothered by too many cosmetic problems but some of it is a bit serious. The entire bathroom floor pretty much needs replaced but of course the landlord isn't about to do that. We decided to finish building the fence around our yard ourselves since they bought the wood and it has just been laying back there. Anyone have any expertise there and could give some pointers?? Its a 6ft tall dark picket fence and there is just once area that needs finished, probably not more than 4-5ft wide.



I was supposed to go up to Cleveland for the Blink 182/ Weezer/ Taking Back Sunday concert yesterday but it was moved to the 30th so Blink could grieve for DJ AM. I have bad luck with September concerts I guess. We did at least go see Inglourious Basterds instead. I fucking loved that movie. Normally I turn my head when things are too gruesome or bloody but I couldn't look away for a minute. I am far from a history buff, but for some reason, WW2 (and ancient Egypt) have always fascinated me.



I can definitely tell that college football season is here. Work has picked up like crazy. I have been getting off at 10 every night rather than 9, as I am scheduled. Tomorrow I offered to go in an hour early at 8 instead of 9 b/c even though we were there an hour late, we still did not finish everything. I even offered to help set up at my 2nd job at 6am on Sat before I work 8-noon at my other job then go to my 1st ever OSU game. I figured I should get one in before I graduate. I've done baseball and hockey, but I would like to go to a volleyball and basketball game this year as well.



Not much else is new. My bday is next week. Hitting a quarter century. Seems like just yesterday I loved getting my face painted and coloring... oh wait, that was yesterday... well you know what I mean. Time flies and all. I am going to Dirty Franks on Wed followed by a couple of my usual bars if anyone would like to come out. Then Vegas next Friday. Woohoo!
