So, today someone left me a blog comment wishing me luck on my finals and I realized how long it has been since I updated. Here we go.
Its a new quarter, finals were ok. One kicked my ass and dropped my grade like crazy but everything else was ok. This quarter I am taking Literature of Edgar Allen Poe, Sign Language 2, First Aid Red Cross Certification, and Biology in Films. They are going fairly well but I've been kind of blah and slacking lately. I'm not sure whats up with me. I went to leave for class today and it was pouring down rain. I took one step then shook my head and came back into my room. Oh well. I currently have nearly 100% in Frist Aid and Sign Language for sure at least. I still love Sign Language and will definitely take the extra interpreting classes once I graduate. Besides class and work I have mostly just been trying to keep the apartment clean since my nearly 30yo stoner roommate doesn't do shit... enough of that, only 4 more months.
Most of my free time is spent reading, at Garage Bar or at Union. There have been a lot of concerts lately too, which I love. This month is crazy. Between all the shows and Hell City, I have taken every weekend off. Saw Gavin DeGraw a week ago b/c his voice is so amazing, but the setip was ridiculous. Not a happy camper. Last night was Ace Enders, Shiny Toy Guns, and All-American Rejects. I don't care what anyone says, those scrawny, girl pant wearing guys put on a hell of a show. STG was awesome and AAR was absolutely hilarious. "Don't worry kids, you can ask your parents what some of these words mean later." It was a very young crowd in the pit. We stayed back a level where we could see and hear better anyway, now stop judging me for the concerts I go to!
I would like to do one little self promotion as well. I am participating in a 5k walk for Pet Promise on May 23rd and I would love some donations. Anything you can spare, even $1 is appreciated. I am the only person on my team to raise any $ so far so I'm running ragged trying to raise as much as I can. Please check it out:

So where are the restaurants at? We looked everywhere and we ask around and no one new of a place that was open that late.
