I suppose it is that time. Classes have been going pretty well despite my exhaustion from them. I have had midterms, papers or projects everyday of class for the last week and that continues until the last project on Friday, then I have a little breathing room. I think all of gone fairly well, although I haven't received all of the grades back yet. I may have to treat myself to one of those wonderful Marilyn Monroe martinis at Havana on Th now that I have convinced ohash to stop by with me.

I felt I was ahead again in the financial department for working way extra last week, but then I went home for the weekend and had to buy a(nother) bridesmaid dress and shoes for my cousin and his fiance's wedding. The dresses are fairly pretty this time though and the shoes rock so at least that is a plus.I love the 2 of them so much. One weekend wasn't enough together (he lives in NJ and her in FL at the moment) but we will all be back up for Thanksgiving.

I have been cleaning my apt a lot, woo for me! My kitty here constantly wants attention so I think when I head home for Thanksgiving I may bring his "brother" back too. They are so cute and fat omgoodness. My kitty, Tina, died last week. I have been sad b/c my dog has cancer and it is spreading really fast in his leg but they don't think he will survive surgery or treatment and the meds make him sick so there is nothing we can do. He isn't acting like anything is wrong so at least that is good but it makes me teary. I get extremely attached to almost any animal and you can't imagine how much I love my pets.

I am keeping my fingers crossed for a good Xmas bonus again, although I got in a bit of trouble at work haha. Carl is being a big shithead and standing me up pretty frequently so I'm frustrated. We are still just casually dating but a little more courtesy would be nice. He has a lot going on but there's really no reason I can't get a "hey, I can't make it" text at the very least. I really want to get some but I'm trying to rule out the randomness or at least confine myself to the boys who have already made the roster lol. I did meet a very cute boy on Friday at least. I already feel a little at ease with this one since he thought I was pretty in stained jeans, a hoodie, and a ponytail. I'm surprised he called after how dumb I seemed in our conversation. Me: No, go ahead. -introductions are made-
Chris: So are you from here?
Me: I'm from Canton, you?
Chris: Liberia
Me: I'm sorry, I don't know where that is?
Chris: Well I'm black so what continent do you think I am from?
Me: Ohh umm, I knew that, I meant what part?
Chris: Western Africa, I have been here for 2 years.
Me: Oh, you don't have an accent at all really
Chris: Yeah, English is our first language. I like your hair, is that it's natural color?
Me: Which one!?
Chris: Haha, the brown
Me: No, I'm a blond I just don't like blond hair
Chris: Why not?
Me: I am so pale skinned that I think blond hair makes me look like I am all one color... -I trail off as I look at his dark skin, black hair, and dark eyes and feel like an asshole- Errm and ppl think blonds are dumb
Chris: I don't think they are dumb, just snotty -as I was reaching for my lipgloss-
