A very dear friend of mine once told me that the bullshit I'd gone through over the past few weeks should be, if nothing else, a kick-to-the-ass wake up call. And it was. So, I decided to bust my ass and get a job. Finally. I put my mind to it, and I fucking did it!!! So at noon tomorrow, I have orientation at a Motel 6 as a housekeeper person, cross training as a front desk assistant manager. The want and need hands are filling up pretty evenly. And that makes me pretty damn happy. In some arenas.

I'm sinking myself into the odd depths of sadness that are the words of The Cure. And, appropriately enough, I'm finding my mind taken by "Lovesong". There are just certain people that need to be around right now for me to beat the lyrics into their head. But they're not, so I can't, and I must deal with that. Eh.

I had a ton of shit I wanted to slide in here somewhere, but somehow, my mind's gone a complete blank. Thanks Fat Bob. Thanks a ton. Sugar-water-haired mind eraser...
