One of my roommates creeps me out. She talks to her cats loudly, as if she expects me to join in with her talking to her cats. Usually it happens when I'm having a conversation with one of the other roommates, and she will interject with something like "Did you hear that (cat)? He's doing (whatever I'm talking about with other roommate)!"
Don't get me wrong, I talk to pets too, but I don't try to include them in the conversation.

Glad yours came through though. I guess there is light at the end of the tunnel when dealing with the VA.
