I lie awake, you in my arms
A rush of happiness still infesting my body
My mind in the ultimate trip
You are my vital drug

A pain infested my body
A virus destroyed my heart
Love shattered by the disease
You are my vital drug

You are the drug that mends my soul
You are the remedy for my thoughts
But when I see the love through your eyes
My heart begins to mend

When you come close to me
I feel the warmth of your adoration
I require this feeling to live
I am addicted, to my vital drug
