I cling to the weekend like a lichen to a rock, fully aware that Monday is a douche bag with a pocketknife.
The storms are fading in and out...they show signs of intensifying, only to taper off. Then it's the verge of maelstrom again...Rooting for the Sky to storm is as close as I get to the "sports" experience, and one of few occasions where I display less than jaded optimism...maelstroms make me giddy.
The tornado watch expires at six in the morning, but I have a feeling the weekend will turn sooner...
