I seem to be having a productive week so far. I've managed to dump 3 big bags of clothes. Honestly, what do I need with 60 pairs of socks? I'm also liquitading my large but rather worthless sports card collection. Back in the day I was all about that! I bought thousands and thousands of them. Recent research has shown that I was a really stupid kid in that respect. Then too, I've never thought of collecting things as an investment. But it also creates a problem because the bubble burst on them quite some time ago. Were it not for this, it would be easier to get rid of the damn things. I'm keeping anything related to Pittsburgh, hockey, or football. But what to do with the leftovers (about 10 or 15 thousand)? I can't bring myself to just toss them into the recycling bin. That would be sad.

New York is coming up soon! Yay! Unlike the previous two trips with my brother, I'll be going with someone I WANT to go with and doing things I WANT to do. My brother is a great guy, but he had some sort of a superiority complex that made it pure Hell. As if that wasn't enough, he almost got us a taxi ride from some random person at the airport, where he wanted to look around in the shops BEFORE WE GOT OUR LUGGAGE! You simply don't do these things upon arrival in New York. What a fucking dumbass. We'll also be meeting a friend up there (not an SG person, just someone I've chatted with for a while).
