Life has really sucked lately, but things are looking up a bit. I'm doing shit for ME now! For example, I'm planning an escape to Toronto this summer (OK, that's for streetspirit too, as she will join me). We might hit Ottawa too (National galleries, the mint, etc) Because I've only been voluntarily outside of Ohio once in the past couple of years, I'm long overdue.
I am such a Canada FREAK (or maybe geek? LOL)! I want to do the grand road trip, St. John's to Vancouver. Yukon and NWT might have to wait.... I've always been fascinated with that part of the world. Why, I don't know. Though I am more of an urban dweller, remote places have always interested me.
Maybe I can find some way to get back to Europe before I realize it too. I've been awfully sick for Britain lately. Too bad our great economy has the Pound almost 2-for-1 and the Euro breaking records once a week. And as much as the current administration has fucked it up, I think someone's going to have a Hell of a mess to deal with when things finally do change.
