The RenFest was AWESOME!!!!! The weather started out pretty shitty, but it cleared up for the afternoon. Corsets, chains, leather, and all kinds of cool stuff everywhere! Plenty of merriment to go round as well. It almost felt like we were back in time; the park doesn't even have electricity! No wonder they shut down at 6 every day.

I just watched the vice-presidential debate tonight. I hate to say so, but I think Cheney won in a number of ways. I doubt if I'm the only one who finds him to be a total grump (any opinions?). But Cheney's been in politics much longer than Edwards. It's his first term in the senate! We'll see what happens come November. Sometimes I'm really optimistic about it, sometimes I am afraid that we'll get 4 more years of whatever we have (or don't have). I'm sure Kerry will win the next two bouts of competence versus stammering.
