All crazy and busy lately. Working a lot. Also trying to find a new bass player for the Funeral Crashers, the old one was getting in the habit of getting wasted before gigs, and then for the second time threw a tantrum while we were onstage, slammed his bass down, and walked off. He did it once at the DropDead festival last year, then a few weeks ago at CBGB. He acted like he was pissed at the sound man or his monitors or something, but he was playing really sloppily because he was drunk and his crappy amp was fizzling out.
My salvia showed up, and I smoked it for the first time a few days after my last entry. I have smoked it 3 times total now. The first time was really frightening, and I've done a ton of other psychedelics; I was not prepared for it. As soon as I exhaled, reality folded in on itself, and suddenly my consciousness was split in two. The mammalian creature was experiencing sheer terror while the completely seperate superego was explaining to it what was happening and that everything was all right. This only lasted a minute or two, then it geared down into a nice, relaxing philosophical buzz that lasted about a half-hour.
The second time was totally different, there was no fear, just a legion of these cute, friendly plant people marching into my head telling me that I was pure of spirit and a good subject for their healing magic. They bisected my body with a plane of energy which tingled as it moved around me and did something to me on a cellular level.
The 3rd time I found myself in a village that looked like it was made of legos or pixel art. I was standing at a door, and I was told that I had the potential to carry an extremely powerful charisma and energy of like a different order of magnitude. I had to go through the door, but it was really heavy. The intense part of the salvia trip was wearing off as i got it open and went through. I started inhaling a pink fog and came out of it doing pranayama. I could feel the fog permeating my lungs and the rest of my body, energizing me.
And the shit is legal and cheap!!!!!
OMG its like I can have a spiritual / psychedelic nightcap before I go to bed, and the whole experience is over in 30 minutes. Then I'm sleepy and content, and there's no hangover or discomfort at all with it.
