I told one of my best friends that I'm joining the marines today and she couldn't have reacted better to it. I'm way too happy right now.
I was really nervous, but it turns out I never listen, because her Dad was in the Navy too and she has total respect and admiration for guys that chose it for a living.

I'd change my name too if my parents wouldn't be totally pissed either... haha. MY real name isn't so bad either. Virginia Madison has been my alias for at least 8 years. I'm fine with it being my alias.
