listenend to Mos Def's "mathematics" from the Black on Both Sides album this morning... "I'm black as midnight on Broadway and Myrtle..." strangely enough, I happened to stay roughly at that intersection in brooklyn this weekend, maybe a block or two away and i had never heard the song till this morning.... made me smile.
