Okay, so I'm a sad emo bastard, but I've really been in the mood for this. It's the song that helped get me through high school. I've been listening to this today, feeling sad but still a little hopeful realizing how far I've come.

I Want to Save You
Something Corporate

standing on the edge of morning
scent of sex and new found glory
playing as she's pulling back her hair
she drives away
she's feeling worthless
used again but nothing's different
she'd stay the night
but knows he doesn't care

home by three
deafening quiet
the porch light's off
yes they forgot it
she'd cry herself to sleep
but she don't dare
and she wants to be a model
she wants to hear she's beautiful
she's beautiful

i want to save you
i want to save you
i need you
save me too
i want to save you

dressed by dawn and out the door
no light
she memorized the floor
so she could leave without being detected
she works till three
it's uniform
she dreams that he'll come by the store
she prays for days
when boys mean she's protected
and she wants someone to see her
she needs to hear she's beautiful
she's beautiful

i want to save you
i want to save you
i need you
save me too
i want to save you

and she won't sleep
she won't sleep
and she won't sleep
at all

i want to save you
i want to save you
i need you
save me too
i want to save you
(let me save you)
i want to save you
(let me save you)
i want to save you
(let me save you)
i want to save you

In positive news, it looks like I'm going to be in charge of Philanthropy for my sorority. I'm actually really excited about it. The way I see it, I have money to throw parties and raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. It is such a great charity and I've worked with it before, they do great work for sick children. Yes, I'm adding more responsibility to my life and more stress. But hopefully I can handle it.

Also in good news, all the traumatized ladies joined a gym. Marla is boxing, the Canuk is doing pilates, and I am finally taking yoga classes again. Hopefully we will all survive midterms long enough to actually use the membership :0)

Thanks for the response, I was glad to learn a little more about you. Awesome song, and working for charity really humbles me. love kiss
