The Canuk meets the Okie's Redneck Family:

So much has happened recently. I took Kristin home with me for Thanksgiving and so now she can confirm to everyone at school that my quite large extended family are a bunch of drunk rednecks. It was hilarious! My Aunt Lynn had wayyyyy too much mine and kept hugging Kristin telling her how beautiful she is and then started to hit on my father (she's my mother's sister.) There were luckily no fights this year, none of my aunts and cousins' many ex-husbands showing up and throwing a fit. Just lots of drinking and laughing.

Most of the weekend was spent in a drunken haze. My friends Chris and Jacob kept our few hours filled with cheap jug wine, smoking, laughing and of course...sex! Yeah sex! And hot tubs! I also took the Canuk to see the giant praying hands outside Oral Roberts University. I'll have pictures of us there and of Jacob scaling the base later. But for now, this is what it looks like:



Yes, this is where I grew up. In the buckle of the Bible Belt. Good thing I didn't learn anything while I was there :0)
