What I've been waiting for since I've met her. A chance to get close to her...

I DO rule. wink

I've gotta do my first FIRING today. A newish busboy/barback with an attitude problem:

+ He's arrogant.

+ He can't tell the difference between rib tips and prime rib.

+ He threw away two signed checks last night, ruining my bartender's chance of getting more money.

+ Another busboy wanted to brawl with him.

Fun times.

And I rule.

I'm ready to fire the guy, right? Walk up to my bartender...

"Where's Mike?"
"Oh, he left."
"Where?"
"He went home, I cut him because it was so slow."

Grr!!!

And my BT KNEW I was going to fire him today. He asks me "What, didn't you talk to him yet?"

"No."

Ugggggh...

oh well...firings aren't so bad really, i've fired all sorts of people. Just don't worry, and remember, he deserves it. Don't bother arguing with him either, just say, "hey...things here aren't working too well for you, You're fired" and have him escorted out by security, That's what they're for. Make sure payroll had his last check ready, so he won't come back.
