I was thinking today....I like my mind. I like the fact that you can go somewhere, come back with a smile on your face, and not have moved an inch.
I've been described as the pensive type. Plus, I'm also the kinda guy who can literally zone out, only to be asked by a woman "What are you thinking about?"
My answer?: "Nuthin'..."

Ok, I understand the need to be polite at work (as I work at a hotel in Van Nuys) and be polite to coworkers but I'm gonna KILLLLLLL this one guy. He's TOO polite, even more than me! And I'm as sweet as they come!!
This guy's background is being on a cruise line. Everything is "SIR!" "Yes, SIR!" or "MA'AM!", "Yes, MA'AM!"
I know he's trying to be nice and professional, but he tries too hard to be "part of the crew." Tries too hard to endear himself to me; he gave me an inappropriate shoulder rub while I was trying to do something and was ::pinches air:: thiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis close to yelling at him. Spoke to my manager, essentially said, "Look, tell him to stop fuckin' touching people." Hopefully he'll get the hint....

It's kinda weird to be touching people at work though...good luck with that. seriously, though--i'm happy you're keeping your journal and sharing...yay! (i know, i'm too full of the Yay! thing, but really, it is my favorite expression of excitement...)
