OK, I've been on this site for close to a year now and never made a journal entry. Stupid thing is I like to read other people's journals. So with the new year I guess it's time to get real here.
Actually, I think my reasons are more selfish. I leave nice comments occassionally with others and never hear back from them. I suppose they might come here and see a blank page and figure maybe I don't care. Well, I do. I'm a little sad that I never heard back from my SG crushes after leaving them comments on there sets.
Oh, I know they have many fans and perhaps hundreds to get back to - I'm realistic. But maybe now that I have started a journal entry they might come around. Here's to wishful thinking.
What's that? Who are my SG crushes? Well, you just have to look above at my SG favorites. But my super crazy SG crushes go to Arete and Sophie. I'll spare y'all the gushing that I could so easily do regarding these two at risk of sounding crazed.

when you made your oatmeal, did you boil the water on the stove and then pour it over the dry oats? and do you just buy the big thing of quaker oats or do you get ones from whole foods, or wherever?
i want to make the awesome oatmeal that you made.

After you start eating it this way it will be hard 2 go back to the instant variety.
You can also use pure maple instead of brown sugar. Don't use that fake maple syurp crap but real maple. It's great in oatmeal among other things (try pure maple instead of honey in tea!)
