So here I go;
this is the first time I'm doing this homework thing on @missy s page
Advice;
One thing I've learned recently is to just try and discover yourself. Whenever I get caught up in the world, I always bring myself back by reminding myself that I'm on a journey to find myself. That's what life is. Day by day I try and go deeper and deeper and discover more about who I am and what I'm like and what I like. I learn more stuff about my self everyday doing this.
Another thing, I'm gonna repeat on what Missy said because that's how important this one is to me. When you make a mistake admit it right away. If you don't understand why this is important try and look at yourself from an outside perspective. If someone was to come at you making excuses instead of just admitting the mistake and fixing it what would be your impression of them? It takes much less time, and effort really, to just shut your mouth, own up to it, and fix it. Plus it makes a good impression even though you make the mistake.
This is also a big one for me. Take other people into consideration. Let me explain it like this.
A lady walks out of the grocery store to find her car has been backed into and dented by someone else, but the person that did it is not around.
So she gets in the car and starts driving. She pulls up to a red light and literally sits there for 9 minutes.
9 minutes at this red light she patiently waits, only getting angrier.
She pulls into the fast food restaurant and someones tries to back out in front of her. Finally when the lady gets parked and goes inside she orders.
When she gets her food the fries are not in the bag.
Now remember, this lady has been through hell in the last 15 minutes.
She goes up to the counter and is just going off.
if the lady hadn't had such a bad day she might have just went up there and just asked them to put a fry in her bag.
the point of my ranting ass story is that, if someones rude to you, just try and think that they had a shit day. If someones rude to me i just think 'dang, they probably just got dumped.' or 'someone must have pissed them off today' I try to not take everything so personally.
sorry for ranting so much. I didn't know how to simplify it.
