Been a while since I've posted anything. I've actually been busy. In Real Life.
I currently have a house-guest. It's the first time more than one soul has lived under this roof in about ten years. After a week I'm not sure I'm used to it yet, but so far it has proved... interesting. And I suppose ironic. As I told her, I'd intended to fix this house up and rent the second bedroom to hot foreign students (there tend to be a few of those around every year). I never fixed the house up though, so the students part never came about.
However, her presence has improved several aspects of my everyday life. For starters, she needs computer time too, so I spend more time reading or doing chores than I used to. I've also been eating healthier, due to her dietary needs. I think I've eaten more green stuff in the past week than I have so far this year. And tomatoes. For some reason I'm eating them all by themselves like I would a piece of fruit.
I've also spent three days in a row out of the house. I finally did the punting thing. I went walking around London again for the first time in years. Took more photographs. I also carried some bloody heavy shit, but my upper body needs the exercise. Especially these weakarse shoulders of mine.
She may be staying a while longer. Despite the lack of constant guilt-free sex, I must admit this just might be a good thing.
But I'll probably still be glad when I get to kick her out and send her home.
Edited to add: This sums up my thoughts on the Transformers movie.
