New post, for no particular good reason. Haven't done much in the last few days but gardening and playing World of Warcraft, but I had the urge to reset my comments count. Not that I'm implying you shouldn't comment, of course. Always happy when beautiful girls pop by.
That said, the print-buying urge is rapidly wearing off. I'm still waiting for most of them, and this discourages me from ordering more. I realize the girls I want on my walls have lives, but when you shell out some hard cash for goods, I don't think it's beyond reason to expect a prompt delivery.
The previous pragraph was filtered through the gentleman in my head. The original version was less kind. Not so much an expression of disappointment as a literary whipping. Something more along the lines of: "Bitches still haven't sent my prints. Blaming it on printers or mail delivery only goes so far. Find better printers. Send the package via registered mail. Not that hard. Oh, you're busy? Or too depressed to visit the post office? Tough shit. Spend ten minutes today as a fucking professional and get it done. I gave you my money, now give me what I fucking paid for."
Apparently this is becoming an issue with me. That or I'm a tight bastard when it comes to money. Smeg knows in the past ten years I haven't spent much on extravagances such as imagery of naked ladies. On the other hand, I haven't spent much on fixing up the house, either. Ah, but the gardening has been fun. Hacking and slashing and sawing. Did more physical work with my upper half in the past weekend than I have in the past six months, I suspect. Going to do some more today.
As for WoW, I'm getting sick of not being able to find groups for any of the group-requiring quests, in or out of dungeons. The LFG tool takes so long, and the auto-join function is useless because it can't balance classes in a group. Finding good people to party with is also a difficulty. The number of times a party has been forced to disband because of one player is infuriating. And then there's the battlegrounds. AV is the most popular because it has the most people, which means you can still get something out of it even if many people don't have a clue what they're doing. In the ten-fifteen groups, if just a few of your team spend all their time simply attacking every enemy they come across, you're going to lose. Battlegrounds aren't about the kill-count, people; it's about completing the frickin' objectives!
Some of the people I used to play SWG with are getting in a tizzy about the upcoming Conan MMO. I'll have to put a new box together and install Vista for it. Bleh.
Edited to add: Wouldn't you know it. Cherry's package arrived today. Just my kind of karma, I complain about something and the next day something happens about it.
