I read about Suicide Girls in some article I came across online. I can't remember what I was originally looking for or how I ended up reading that article, but the name was interesting enough for me to come here and check things out.
It was good. I signed up. It was still good. It kept being good for a good long while. Months and months, I suppose.
Then a bunch of the original girls left. I still don't know why. I assume the answer is or was in the boards somewhere, but the SWG official forums put me off them pretty much forever. A particular kind of board, connected to a large website where there's plenty of none-boardy things going on... I'm digressing. I do that.
I was disheartened by the fact that so many of the original, favourite girls took off. I hope they're doing well, whatever they're getting up to now.
After that, came the invasion that saw a new girl every six hours. I lost track of the girls I liked because they got swamped by the new arrivals, and I finally had to start using the favourite SGs thing. And most of us know that was inadequate, and how long it took them to increase the max number of faves from five to however many it is now. Twenty or something.
And the new arrivals themselves, well... some of them were SG material. Some of them, in my book, would never ever have qualified. I wouldn't name names because it wouldn't be appropriate, but in truth I'm not because there are so many names it's all a big fucking blur.
Now Bast is leaving, and I learn that Missy has been selling off photos of ex-SGs to other sites. Perhaps less tasteful sites. Legally, she's perfectly allowed to do that. But it's selling out, and for those of us who were here before SG jumped the shark or whatever, it's in bloody poor taste.
So now, here I sit, seriously contemplating ending my membership. Only two things are keeping me here, as far as I can see:
1: I'm still willing to pay in order to see particular girls naked.
2: I actually give a damn about some of the girls here and don't want to stop knowing what they're up to.
Just because it's legal to do something doesn't mean it's moral to do something. Ironic, since law is supposed to uphold morality.

All I will say right now is that I really appreciated what you wrote in my Angry blog, and I'd miss you if you left.
