i know what you mean about the smell thing... i think smells are the most direct sense for memories, or something.... i should definitely try lighting incense before i go to sleep, something i used to do, and for some reason got out of the habbit.
as far as the symbols go, hah... my father would be the one causing me more stress these days... it is actually his side of the family i take after as far as facial bone structure goes. however my eyes are my great grandmother's on my mother's side. oh, who the hell knows.
