My gosh - it's been ages since a blog, and so I shall attempt one of interest...
So since last time I now have a sofa (and it's great) plus I went to the V fest and thoroughly enjoyed The Foos, Basement Jaxx, Jarvis Cocker, Lily Allen, Mark Ronson, McFly, and especially Juliette and the Licks - the best rock and roll'ers around if you ask me. She's great on stage and the music kicks many butts.
On Friday I went and saw the Tragically Hip at the Astoria, which was great. The sound could have been better but the guys were on top form, including a 15 min version of 100th meridian. And then a Bowie cover to boot (Queen Bitch). Which seeing as we'd had Poutine and Canadian beer at the Maple Leaf before hand I think made for a perfect Friday just about.
In other news I've now been 'not single' for about a year which is amazing for me - not that I'm saying Lou must be mental or anything, it's more I've very much been a like my own space person and don't do the clingy stuff and with Lou that's work out just fine.
QI has started again of Friday nights - more Stephen Fry TV. Can't get better than that really. Well possibly more Battlestar, Lost and Heroes - but that's all coming soon too.
But more anon, I've been at work all day (even though I shouldn't have been - but needed to finish an edit and shoot come pickups before it's broadcast tomorrow) and so I shall love you and leave you as I go and have some bread and butter for tea (end of month plus I bought a nice crusty loaf at lunch and don't fancy anything fancy for tea).
