To all Canadians reading this - Happy Canada Day - and anyone who, like me, appreciates all the great things that come from Canada, the same goes to you too.
So I got up around midday today and made my girlfriend and I pancakes with bacon and maple syrup to start our day off (with a generous amount of strong black coffee). I'm now about to head into the city centre for a bit of shopping (wearing a Tragically Hip T-shirt by the way). And later I'll toast Canada with a Highball or two (only drink them made from Canadian Club with Canada Dry on ice) probably while watching something set in or made in Canada on the video projector (I love my big screen TV...). Maybe the Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy, or some Trailer Park Boys DVDs. I'll have to wait and see how the mood grabs me.
