wow. a great big thanx to everyone that wished me a happy b-day. sorry to say it sucked ass in a major way. spent the majority of the day with no electricity on quite possibly the coldest day of the year in austin. it was about 33 degrees outside and maybe about 53 inside the house... it so happened that the box-thingy behind our meter-reading- thingy burned up at about 7:00 am on xmas eve. luckily a life long friend is an electrician and got us some good 'ol electricity around 6pm... just in time to go have drinks and mexican food and sit in major traffic to see the xmas lights on 30-something street. i guess it could have been worse. the house could have burned to the ground i guess. happy festivus for the rest of us!
