So basically this is what I came up with on leap day. Girls will go on and on, I have many platonic girl friends and hear this often, about how they just want some guy to give them attention. But should a guy they seemingly like actually give them attention they run away. However if the guy shows no interest and is kind of an asshole they will puppy dog him and chase him away.
Why cant we just be real and upfront about things and see where that goes? This is why I feel the world is so fake. Everyone says they don't want to play games but jump right into them right away. I'm over it.
I just think its funny that the girls I tell I'm not interested in, that I'm not interested beyond hooking up occasionally want to be serious with me and treat me great... But the girls I'm interested in and tell them so get scared and bail. Vicious cycle. So be it.

The crazy thing is after this ranting I did about the girl that stood me up... she has been texting me frequently. I haven't spent any time with her because I am reluctant to. I am actually perplexed by the whole situation.
In any case I am seeing someone else loosely but the interest does not really go beyond a physical one. Just how things go sometimes.
