Everyone always has that ignorant neighbor. You want to say something or in my case confront him and do something but you don't want to lower yourself to that level. Then later you think to yourself, why didn't I? Do you have one? How do you handle it?

I always stand my ground with shitty neighbors! I am never rude outside the one incident, however. I will continue to say hello when I see them and such, but if they are doing something that is rightly irritating to me, I always say something. And there are ways to approach it nicely. Start with small cit chat one day and then build that into your complaint and see how they react. Hopefully you'll be able to continue to handle the situation smoothly, or just be stern and don't back down if they start acting out.
