Journal Poetry Day AGAIN? heehee

Well, Kiddies its a dark one this week wink

I Never Liked You
I Never liked you
I hate your ugly small eyes
and how they
Smile and
Dance
When you laugh

I hate your big ugly teeth
That sit
cutely
In your mouth like a bunny
Defiantly beautiful
Utterly Adorable
I hate that

I hate your strange manner
The way...

Alas, the band is no more. frown It was called TiMe. We had some awesome times but that's the way things go. I'm halfassed trying to find a new band now. Whatever. smile Glad you dug the lyrics.

Digging the poems, man. I've had occasion when I was young to relate to the first one. Not so much over the last ten years though. I don't know, every breakup I've had recently has been cool, and I'm still friends with all of my ex's. I guess I just look at it as our lives going seperate directions. It's sad sometimes, but what can you do? Maybe I'm just THAT self centered. biggrin Take care, man.

What a lame month this has been. I lose one post, get written up, suspended, move to another shitty post, Miss a week of work, have an electrical fire, now Im being told that Ill have to pay for the damages even though the electrician says it isnt my fault....is that legal?

I keep hearing Palpatine saying "I will MAKE it legal"

Now Im resorting...

frown I'm sorry hun. *hugs*

You really shouldn't have to pay for the damage caused by an electrical fire. That's the landlords responsibility!!!

And I can't upload my pics for some bizarre reason frown

FUCK!

I just had an electrical fire! well about 2 hours ago. I was on the computer and I hear that zzzz zzzzz sound electricity makes and looking over I see fire coming out of the outlet and up the wall! So I freak out...and turn off the air condition unit that started it, and then pulled out the plug and swatted it out (the...

Shit. Glad everything is ok. That happened to me a couple of weeks ago. I head a fizzing noise, and smoke started coming out of one of the lamps in my dads livingroom. I thought is was a bug that ot fried, but then I could smell burning plastic. I haven't switched it on since!!

Here's a link to Bo'Selecta. It is a comedy series here in the UK, and it's just fucking brilliant. This guy takes one or two characteristics from a celeb, and blows it out of all proportion. Great stuff. You might get it at some point over there on one of the British channels, but there is a LOT of swearing (shit fuck bollocks cunt etc). Not sure about the censoring in the states.

Lyon's Den was shut down for the weekend, so yesterday was 8 long hours in an empty parking lot trying to figure out something to do....sigh.

Before I left though I walked through the sets of the show and I have to say...amazing smile I cant wait to see how they look on film.

I downloaded Burly Brawl from Matrix Reloaded and Paul Oakenfold's Starry Eyed...

Aw, man, maybe if I was really doing the whole Subway thing, but I'm not really. It's just if I'm out and someone says "let's get food", that's just about the only "fastfood" that I'll still eat.

It sucks that you were stuck in the parking lot, man, but I'm envious of getting to tool around the sets. That's a pretty fucking cool perk. smile

hope your pasta was worth the wait smile

Security is depressing. Im surrounded by people who have no options, people that HAVE to work these shitty jobs just to support a family or whatever...they couldnt move on even if they wanted too, or they are completely unskilled...Plus, after this shitty job then they have to go to their OTHER shitty job...By the end of Sept (After the Emmys) Im getting out of security...I...

So yesterday was my first day at my new post. I was placed in a parking lot to watch...cars. I HATED IT. I hated the first 3 hours of my shift and was ready to go home, I hemmed and hawed...Oh I was mad! To just SIT there for 8 hours, that has to be the dullest thing EVER! Sure I can bring a book...

I enjoyed them all. And i must dispute the facts in #3. The clock in my car is 10 minutes ahead of any clock you can find. And still I'm late for work. wink

The second poem was amazing. We've all fallen for that one before.

And the first poem was beautiful. I miss that kind of love.

ahh, definately a man after my own heart. honestly think Transmet and 100 Bullets are probably the best things being written today. Brian Azarello is fucking brilliant when it comes to the film noir/colloquial mastery of modern life. and what can you say about Transmet? my only complaint is how is the best thing in literature today about freedom of speech, press and expression being written by a man who doesn't even live in the country that garuntees them?

i'm also big on Ellis' Planetary (a comic about all great fucking sci fi comic bullshit of the last hundred years seen in a way you never thought of) and Grant Morrison's The Filth. and for the sheer comic (and by that i mean funny) brilliance Garth Ennis' run on The Punisher... what can i say, i like my humour like i like my coffee - black as sin.

thank you for enjoying the story. the second chapter is up today. not having much luck on actual criticism though. is it too wordy? bizarre? over dramatic? should i quit rubbing opium into my eye sockets while snorting peyote when i write it? someone has to give me a little literary support here.

interesting day? what exactly do you do? and can you smuggle me some of this free food? hey, i work for the government... the benefits are great but the work and the pay sucks.

Hi everyone it's Journal Poetry Day! Here are a few things a wrote I hope you like them smile

Karen
It was at the time of
the half moon and the spring
and the harvest and new year
when she fell into my lap with
a smile and a laugh.
A laugh that rose to the sky and
teased the scarlet haired
Lady of Love

I...

Good stuff, man. The second one especially.

There's drama on the boards about every six months or so. That's why I generally stay off of them. Oh well, it all passes. smile

Yeah, man, I'm not all militant against urban sprawl and shit, but it can be pretty depressing. Most of my friends grew up in Mira Mesa, and the level of growth up there over the last ten years is insane.

Good luck with the new post. Hope you dig it. I'm sure the money stuff will work out. smile

Willy Wonka exhibit??? That must've been awesome.

Thanks so much for the welcome! smile

Ugh, expectations! Why do so many people lay so many expectations on me??

Whenever I get home to my comfy little bachelor in the nice side of Van Nuys, the answering machine is full of messages from Mom "Why havent you called us we're worried"+"Your Grandmother hasnt heard for you in days"+"everyone called her today but you" (I love my grandma don't get me wrong)...

I can feel your frustration. I need to be left alone a lot of the time too. Put the phone off the hook and don't answer the door!!!

Unfortunately I didn't find any teeth on the beach, but to my delight, I found a rusty bike frame! I was hoping to see one there. I was surprised to see that it was a sandy beach too! Not to much crap around either. Although I managed to get sand into my beer on several occasions.

I can't believe there is a willy wonka exhibit! I'd love to go to that!!!! I am jealous!!!!
