Made it home over the weekend for a quick visit. I got to see more family & a dozen cute, 2-week old golden retriever puppies. Surprisingly, I did not get much homework done . . ..

Drank a budweiser of my own free-willpuke; that was all that was available.

The first term of law school seemed to go well, even though there are no grades back yet. I found the classes to be interesting along with my black sense of humor getting even darker. One thing that I noticed is that I was not stressing much over finals, since I felt I had a good grasp of the information. (My strengths play out better...

I want to eat at Corez Wine Bar a while ago, and I had a nice meal there. I started off with a grilled octopus dish that had a very nice flavor, even though it was lacking with a grilled-flavor, since it was not grilled but griddled; which sadly occurs more often than one might think in restaurants. For the main course, there was a...

I've completed my move to GR a while ago and have been getting to know the area quite a bit. I thought that I would have a difficult time riding a bike in a town that is not used to them, but I am actually more worried about walking on the sidewalk as I have already almost been hit twice by a car, while I...

Well, the violent side of Chicago has not forgotten me before I left.

As I was riding my bike to Saturday's SGC Meet-N-Greet, three kids were on the sidewalk of the Damen bridge over the North branch of the Chicago River. I was riding by on my bike around 20 mph not thinking at all about the pedestrians as I rode by. Suddenly, my head...

Sadly, I will be leaving the Chicago area by the end of June to go to law school in Michigan. frown
I've greatly enjoyed my time here with everyone I met, and it is my hope to either transfer back to Chicago, or possibly somewhere else, after my first year. Time will have to tell for that one though.

For those of you with a sweet...

". . . I felt that imposing my 'dietary restrictions' on the chef was akin to removing paint colors from his or her palette. I must let the artist work without inhibitions!" Mark Caro

Well, what I can say it's from my own experience, so I think it depends if the piercing is made on the right place or not.
The first time I had my septum pierced, the guy was probably clueless about how to do it right. He did a poor job - piercing and putting the jewelry on the wrong place, so I couldn't even hide it inside my nose if I wanted to. Only a few weeks later I came to realize the terrible job he had made, as I went to another piercing place, and one of the girls there re-pierced my septum in the right way. The difference was amazing, and since then I'm able to hide it anytime. I can say that mine stays in place (although I'm not sure if it would if I sneezed - it never happened tongue ).
So I'd say yes, as long as the piercer knows what he is doing. Are you planning on piercing yours?
