Portland is awesome. I don't know much about the culinary arts, but Portland has a great art scene. It's beautiful, and if you can get past the rain, and the hippies, Portland is a great place to live.

and once and a while stop and appreciate your other half, Try not to get caught up in the mundane everyday rooutines, and stresses in your lives.
Pay attention,

It is interesting how much my time spent on a computer has increased, since I am at a location with better access. Fortunately, it has not increased with surfing the net, and it would mainly be spent here reading profiles and writing various comments, with the exception of e-mailing friends and stuff.

Family is in town, so it is fun to be with them and catch up on events. I really enjoyed Memoirs of a Geisha. I am reading His Master's Voice by Stanislaw Lem and Shelby Foote's Civil War Trilogy; both are currently excellent!
